“I got a deal”

So I met with a client who “got a deal” purchasing his wood flooring online and wanted to know what I would charge him for the installation. I examined the product and told him that I didn’t recognize the manufacturer and that I didn’t like the finish layer of the wood. Turns out he wanted it installed, so I did the installation. Now a month later he’s in a fight with the internet company to send out an inspector because the finish on his flooring is wearing sporadically and is fading in other areas. He got a deal alright..a bad one. Online shopping is fine for some things, just not for your new wood flooring.
